Ultrasound Evaluation of the Distal Biceps Tendon

Presentation description

The distal biceps tendon is commonly affected by tendinosis, tears, or associated bursitis. It is imperative to differentiate between partial and full-thickness tears for proper patient management. With knowledge of the distal biceps anatomy, proper imaging techniques, and awareness of potential pitfalls, ultrasound is becoming the modality of choice for an accurate diagnosis.

This webinar illustrates the anatomy of the distal biceps tendon and show sonographers how to acquire optimal images and perform proper dynamic assessments. Pathological conditions and potential imaging pitfalls are discussed. Pathologies are presented in a case study format.

Managing Stress with Emotional Freedom Techniques

Presentation Description:

Let's face it, as with many other professions and areas of work, stress is also present in the healthcare field.

For sonographers, higher patient volumes, short-staff departments and potential repetitive strained injuries, among others, add to our stress level which not only affects us professionally but also in our personal life.

Several tools exist to help us manage our stress levels. One of them is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping.

In this interactive SonoWebinar, you'll learn about EFT from Genoveva Vazquez, EFT practitioner, self-love and wealth coach, who will demonstrate how EFT can be used as a simple yet effective stress-managing tool which can be easily incorporated in the workplace and life.

Speaker: Genoveva Vazquez

Certified life coach and EFT practitioner.
