Common (and uncommon) Accessory Muscles & Tendons That I See In My MSK Practice Weekly
Luke McLeod
RMSKS, RDMS, CRGS
Presentation Description:
Accessory muscles & tendons are fairly common throughout the human body, they look like typical anatomy but in atypical locations. Majority of time they are asymptomatic incidental findings, but occasionally they can be the palpable mass, impinge on peripheral nerves, or be used as grafts for surgeons.
I have compiled a list of accessory muscles & tendons that I have encountered over the past 10 years and hope to shed some light on their common and uncommon locations.
